Is a year too long to spend on one project?
Do not worry. I am not going to say "You can only do this plan if you are writing a novel." No. That is not the way I do things. If you would rather use your 219-220 words a day and write several short stories, poems, articles, anything else, throughout the year, that is completely fine. I stand by you as long as you are writing something.
Do you plan on writing a book?
Do you plan on writing a book? Do you think that you will have the concentration available to spend a lot of time trying to write a book? Do you give up on the though of writing a book after you hear how much work it is?
Well stop worrying and DO NOT give up. You have the ability to write a book. Take it slow. Write 219-220 words a day, everyday for a year. Yes that might seem like too long to do it. You might think that you want to write a book as soon as possible. That is up to you. But I know, from personal experience. That if you try doing to much at once, with anything, you will tire out. You will not want to do it. The 'do it all at once' kind of thinking should be saved for after you write a book or two.
